🔒 BallroomBuddy is designed to work entirely on your device. Your audio is never transmitted to any server.
BallroomBuddy is a dance music identification app that uses artificial intelligence to suggest ballroom dance styles based on audio captured from your device microphone. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

These preferences are stored using your device's local storage and never leave your device.
BallroomBuddy requests access to your device microphone solely to capture audio for dance style identification. Microphone access is only active during the 5-second recording window when you tap the LISTEN button.
BallroomBuddy uses your device's audio session in measurement mode — a setting that disables voice processing effects (noise cancellation, automatic gain control) to capture clean music audio. This is a local device configuration only and does not affect any data transmission.
You can revoke microphone permission at any time in your device Settings.
BallroomBuddy includes an optional feedback form (via Google Forms) accessible from the app menu. This form is entirely voluntary.
If you choose to submit feedback:
BallroomBuddy offers an optional support purchase ("Support BallroomBuddy"). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. BallroomBuddy does not receive, process, or store any payment information.
In-app purchases are consumable voluntary tips, not required to use any feature of the app.
